Caldicot’s Day Of Fun

DESPITE the poor weather, Caldicot Town Team’s fun day proved a great success last Friday (14th August).
Featuring everything from fair rides and face painting to animal petting and a buskers corner, the event in Caldicot Town centre relied on the generosity of volunteers to set up and organise the day.
Even Rodney the Dragon – Newport Gwent Dragons’ mascot – made an appearance at the event, and was snapped riding the land train.
While wishes for glorious sunshine were not met the rain didn’t dampen any spirits, with a good attendance for an event to unify the community.
